Since the age of 12, I have loved the experience of photography, amassing a collection of old prints, slides and negatives. While many photographers have influenced my work, Henri Cartier-Bresson’s mastery of candid street photography speaks to my love of people and life itself. People are all the same everywhere and I feel that nothing human is strange. Studying Sociology at Oklahoma State University taught me to look at the world differently, perceiving how human interactions shape social groups and individuals. It is my goal to capture people in their daily lives. Within their reality, as well as mine, I am observing and being a part of this world. Using my Fuji Film GFX-50s Digital Camera, my preferred finished products are black and white or sepia. I strive to give my photographs a cinematic appearance which speaks to the deviant mind in us all.  I hope you enjoy chasing light and life through my lenses
